You Can’t Help Everyone

One thing that took a while for me to grasps was finding my niche.  I knew within my heart that I wanted to help people.  My vision was to help everyone and anyone.  This meant across the broad without being specific.  That was my first mistake in running a home business.  Don’t try to help everyone.

I really thought the training classes that helped me will be the same classes I use to help everyone else. I left out the most important thing I learned.  In each of my training the first thing my instructor said, you have to identify to avatar or your niche.  I struggle with this aspect for a long time.

If you are having problems in your home business there is a reason. One of the reason could be you have not identified who you want to reach.  Don’t remain in the position I set in for a long time and don’t try to re-invent the wheel. These course were created for a reason so, to help you. So when you hear about a particular technique that has helped individual achieve, do what it is saying.  This eliminate the struggle up front.  These instructors/gurus/leaders in the marketing industry have paved the way.  They’ve been around the block a few times and know what it takes to succeed.  The only thing you need to do is plug into a system and as the NIKE commercial says “Just Do It.”

Identify Your Niche

A major mistake many people make in this business is they are trying to reach as many people as possible.  The problem with this is not everyone is interested in what you have to offer including those you keep chasing after.  You should be looking for people who are looking for you.  The best way to do this is to identify your niche.  Who are you trying to reach?  It could be wellness, cosmetic, do it yourself, etc…  Whatever it is, start provide content that cater to that specific group.  Eventually you will see those who are looking for you.

Stop trying to help everyone and focus on those who are seeking your help.
