Productivity Makes A Difference

Ok let’s face it.  If we are not productive in our home business the chances of succeeding are very slim.  Productivity makes a difference in any business.  It is the key factor in improving and making your business a success.  Today I want to touch on fours that you should be doing daily in your business.

Actually, I have 23 points I will touch on; however, I will do them four at a time.

Let’s face it; if I cover all 23 three by the time you reach the end, you will be overwhelmed.

I must also give credit where credit is due.  I am always learning things new and when I learn them my goal is to always pass these training unto you.

These recommended productivity are from Eben Pagan.

So, let’s not belong this anymore and get down to the nitty gritty which is why you are reading this article today.

Productivity Makes A Difference

Productivity activities for your business

Productivity 1 – Failing to plan is planning to fail. You should be setting goals that extend across the year, month, week, and day.   This will be your long term and short term goals.  You want to look at what you want to accomplish for the year and then start breaking it down.

For example, you want to recruit at least 40 people in your business for the year.  There are 52 weeks in a year. You divide that by 40 and get 1.3 recruits in a week.  From there you calculate how many hours you need to work daily to get 1.3 recruits or 1 or 2.

This doesn’t only apply to your work but to your life in general.  If you know what you are doing daily it avoids surprises.  Also, keeps you on target for the week. Productivity makes a difference in any business.

Productivity 2 – Use a stopwatch or timer. Set your time for 60 minutes intervals. If you are using your daily schedule you know what you are supposed to be doing each hour.

The stopwatch or timer keeps you on track.  So you start the timer and start to work.  When that time goes off, you stop immediately (if you are in the middle of a call, stop after you finish the call) and go to the next task on your calendar.

Whatever you don’t finish during that time, it goes on your task list for the next day. Now before each task you want to take a 10 to 15 minute break.

What are we trying to do?  We are trying to increase our productivity in our home business. Productivity makes a difference in any business.

Productivity 3 – Ninety percent of your time should be about MMA (money making activities).  What marketing activity you are doing to make money? There are great platforms you can use.

This can be writing content, reaching out to your customers (prospecting), or driving traffic to your offer.  Whatever your money making activity is your focus should be on that and nothing else during that time.

Productivity 4 – Multi-tasking should no longer be on your list.  I know people say mothers multi-task all the time in order to keep a house running smoothly.  That’s ok to me because I do it as a mother myself.

However, when it comes to my business, I focus on one thing and one thing.  Multitasking actually decreases your thought pattern leaving work less than to be desire.

So, take multi-tasking out of your vocabulary while working your home business and focus one thing.

Tomorrow I will bring you four more productivity 5 through 9.

I hope you found value in understanding why Productivity makes a difference in any business. Everyday should be focusing on productivity.  If you can only work 1 or 2 hours a day make sure it is MMA.

Please share if you found value.
