How To Maintain Business Success

Let’s face it, everyone that start a small business wants to succeed.  I know I did.  How to maintain business success

There are about 90% business starters that give up on their business within the first month. Of the 90%, it decreases drastically for those who last 6-months in their business.

Starting a business is the easy part; it’s maintaining that business that is hard.

Once you do get your business up and running and bringing in income, what’s next? How to maintain business success when so many are failing?

As I mentioned, it’s not an easy thing to do.  However, if you focus on a few things you will continue to find success in your business.

What are some keys to success in business?

When you really examine the question the answer is quite simple.

Learn the golden rules – Treat others how you want to be treated.

In doing that, I would like to recommend 3 successful business techniques that will help in your business and personal life.

Let’s face it, whatever happens in our personal life rolls over into our business and vice versa.

Let’s proceed to find out more about these three  business tips.

Understand it is not about the money

In 1 Timothy 6:10, it reads, “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”

Money can make people do strange things including stealing, murdering, lying, etc..

It also makes you do things in your business that are totally unethical.

Yes, we all want to make money; however, there is a way that would bring great joy to you and those you serve.

Learn to serve others by giving them value and watch what happens to your business.  It will explode.

Helping others is the major stepping stone because you made not see a return on your investment immediately.

Once others see how you help one person to succeed, they will fall in place wanting to get a piece of the pie.

Don’t fret too much about the money, by helping others it will come.

Treat your staff and customers well

Have you heard people say, don’t work for him, he’s mean and surly and don’t care about no one but himself.

Or, don’t go to that store, they treat their customers bad.

How you treat your staff determines if that person will be with you in the long haul and how you treat your customers determine if they will return again.

I don’t like endorsing anyone, but I have to give praises when praises are due.

Recently (or not so recently depending on when you are reading this), I purchase a Fitbit fitness watch.

I use it during the day and sleep with it during the night.  It was great!

Then all of sudden I noticed the band was coming apart.

I sent an email to Fitbit support and explained my situation.  Within, 3 days I received a response saying they will replace my Fitbit for free and to send them my info.

Needless to say, because of how I was treated, I will buy another Fitbit.

Guess what? Treating your staff with respect will accomplish the same goal.  They will do what they can to ensure you succeed.

Learn to do the right thing

Being ethical, having integrity, and being honest go a long way.

When you switch from you to others you will eventually find continue successful business.

Bad business travels fast.  Now with social media it travels within nanoseconds.

Once that person hits enter, that’s all she wrote.

Don be dishonest to get a few bucks that will only last a few minutes.

You are in this business for the overhaul and treat that way.

If you know it is wrong and may jeopardize you reputation, leave it alone.

I promise, bigger and better things will come.

These keys to success in business are not mandatory and you don’t have to follow them; although, I do suggest you take them serious.

They are what I decided to do for success and it changed the dynamics of my business.

To me these are what make business successful.

I pray that you enjoyed reading today’s blog on How To Maintain Business Success.  Keep these recommendations close and it will help you to be successful in your business.
