Four Suggestions For Your Marketing Business

Many people clam up when it comes to marketing regardless of what type.  Today I want to give four suggestions for your marketing business  and hope you start implementing at least one today.

If you’ve been in marketing for a period of time you heard the Penny Marshall’s quote about necessity.

She said no one goes to the store to buy a drill because they like.  The buy it because they need to drill a hole (of course this is paraphrased.) I like taking statements and putting them into my own words.  It helps me get a better understanding of the meaning.

Four Suggestions For Your Marketing BusinessNetwork marketing and affiliate marketing are the same.  Why do people join a networking company?  Because they want to make extra money or start a stay-at-home business.  The only way this can happen is they need to connect to an organization.

Now the dilemma comes in when those individuals don’t know what to do and fail big time in their business.  So, here are a few suggestions you should seriously think about when starting or in a marketing business. They are just four suggestions for your marketing business.

Suggestion 1.  Purchase the Product(s) Yourself

Just think about it.  When you want to know about an item before you purchase it, what is the first thing you do?

You go to Youtube or some social media platform and see what they have to say about it.

You compare different suggestions and weigh you odds and make the right decision according to how you feel.

I mentioned in Five Simple Daily Actions To Incoporate in Your Business  that people are not interested in the business but how can the product solved their problems.

The best way to do this is to purchase the item and explain the product from a personal experience. Explain how it has help you and what it can do to help others.

People are emotional and they act according to their feelings at the point.

Suggestions 2. Document Results

Suggestion number two takes time; however, you can do something else until you get results.

People love results and when they see that you are making money or progress from those products, they want to know how they can get in or where they can buy.

Now before you start panicking and saying, “I am new, I don have anything to show.” Don’t worry.

This is the time leveraging kicks in.  Whatever network marking company you are in you can use their examples of how the product works and how it has helped so many people.  These results can be both financially and physically.

Leverage your company’s results and expand on that.  If you don’t know what to leverage, get with the person who invited you and follow their suggestions.

It can be difficult in the beginning; however, pick a product and talk about it for 7 days straig, you will be amaze of the outcome.

Step 2. Put Together a Step-by-Step guide

Once again, don’t panic.  You want to become duplicatable. When prospects see that you’ve made their lives easier, they was to stick with it. The best way to show them is through your results.

This step-by-step plan will show people how to use your solution to solve their problem.

Remember the illustration earlier about the drill?

Here is a scenario to relate to. I am a female and unless I am doing some type of construction work as a professional, the chances of my buying a drill is nil.

However, I love hanging things on the wall and doing it yourself projects (every so often 🙂 )

Now I have pictures and screws but nothing to put the whole in the wall.  I am uncertain about how to do it correctly.  What do I look for and where do I go to solve this problem?

I know, let search for a step-by-step guide or instructions on Youtube that shows me how to measure,  how to identify a stud, how to use anchors, and so on.  Are you understanding what I am saying here?  You want to become the go to person.

I am looking for someone who has done it before and now can explain it in layman’s terms so I can do.

This step-by-step guide is not only helpful for your customers but also helpful for you.  If you need to brush up on skills that you have not used for a while, you have something to review.

Well now you can review your guide to refresh your memory.

One thing to keep in mind when doing your step-by-step guide is to KISS (keep it simple silly) it.

The system I work with has done that for every marketing strategy I know.  I love that they don’t just create training and stop they are always staying abreast of new techniques and keeping me informed..

Step 4. Start Creating Content

Do you see where I am going with this?  The previous 3 suggestions tells you what you should be doing.

Step 4 tells why you should be doing.  Content is King and you should be creating it on a daily basis.

Content can be a video, blog post, articles, tweets, snapchat, google plus, etc…

Chose one marketing strategy and start creating content through that strategy at least 4 to 5 times a week.

Don’t sit on what you learned.  Get as much information out there as possible.  When people see that you are giving value to them, they are going want to join your team or buy your product.

My Conclusion

Ask yourself, why am I  reading this blog?  Why am I here?  Because you have a problem and you want to know how to solve it.

I’ve just given you 4 suggestions to help ease your pain.

Review step 2 again and pick one thing from the product you are selling and start creating content about how that product solves a problem.
